The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California at the age of 55.

The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
