Administration Condemns 'Democratic Fabrication' as Additional Jeffrey Epstein Photos Disclosed

House Democrats have published a new tranche of what they labeled "troubling" images from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The first release of 19 photographs—some of which have been seen before—plus another 70 released later on Friday constitute a tiny fraction of the nearly 100,000 images provided to the House oversight committee, which is looking into the conduct and connections of Epstein.

The disgraced financier was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking crimes.

Prominent Personalities in the Images

Among the high-profile individuals seen in the first release are well-known figures such as film director Woody Allen; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin business group.

Donald Trump appears in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are obscured.

Administration Response

The White House responded to the release in a statement, alleging Democrats of selectively "choosing" the photographs for electoral motives and to "attempt to fabricate a false account."

"That partisan falsehood against President Trump has been consistently disproven," an administration official said, maintaining that "the Trump administration has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have at any point by repeatedly calling for transparency, making public numerous documents of documents, and demanding further investigations into Epstein's Democratic associates."

Democratic Lawmaker Remarks

The photos were released devoid of explanation, but according to a California Democrat and ranking member of the oversight committee, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's links with affluent people.

"It is time to halt this White House concealment and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he stated in a comment.

The disclosure of these documents coincides with the oversight committee pressing on with its investigation into the Epstein case.
